7 Weeks Pregnant

I like to move it, move it

Your baby is now the size of a blueberry, and growing quickly!

Right about now, your baby's head is growing faster than the rest of their body to make room for their brain. He or she will also be developing more prominent facial features, with their eyes and eyelids beginning to form.

It is important to care for your body throughout your pregnancy, to give your baby the best environment in which to thrive. This means keeping yourself hydrated - you should aim to drink between one and a half to two litres of water a day.

Staying active during pregnancy is a great way to care for your body, and reduce risks of complications (including gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia) during pregnancy. Walking is a great way to improve aerobic fitness and an easy activity to incorporate into your day. You could get off the bus one stop earlier, take the stairs rather than the lift or even take the dog for an extra walk. Every little helps!
