26 Weeks Pregnant

Pack your bags!

Your baby is the size of a red cabbage!

It may still seem like ages until you're due to give birth, but if you're not planning a home birth, then it's never too early to start packing your hospital bag. Important things to remember to pack are; loose and comfortable clothing, 5 or 6 pairs of pants, some slippers, tissues, nappies and something to dress the baby in. It may be a good idea to bring a book, and some music too.

It is recommended by the government that expectant mothers have a whooping cough vaccination between weeks 16 and 32. This can help protect you, and your baby, as protective antibodies are passed from mum to unborn baby.

By this week, Fathers-to-be need to inform their employer of any plans to take paternity leave.
