Pregnancy Calendar - Pick a Week!
36 Weeks Pregnant
The countdown begins

Your baby is the size of a papaya!
You're now going into your ninth month, wow! Maybe it's flown by, or maybe it hasn't, and it might not have always been easy but we do know that you have absolutely rocked this pregnancy. Well done you!
This week, or thereabouts, you should get a Group B Strep (GBS) test. GBS is a bacteria that may never cause a problem to you but, should it pass along to your baby during birth, could cause severe problems. If you were to test positive for GBS, you may be given an IV drip of antibiotics during your labour, which significantly reduces the risk of passing the bacteria to your baby. You may also be kept in hospital for at least 12 hours after birth to monitoring; however this may not be necessary!
Now that you're just 4 weeks away from your due date, it may be worth updating your colleagues and employer on your projects so they may be able to take over if you're suddenly out of the office.
We also think that now is a good time to enjoy a date or two with your partner. You should get some quality time in now, before you're both busy looking after your brand new little person.
Only 4 weeks to go!
